Okay, looks like there may be no comic on Monday depending on our schedules.

I'm leaving for Realmscon tomorrow morning, and Soto's going to be at Otakumex, so schedules may be packed. I'll try to produce something, but if we don't update on Monday, we should be able to update a little later in the week. Everything kinda... popped up. But I'm heading down with Matt and I'll be sharing a table with Juno. Should be erotic.

For now, I'm off to enjoy pizza rolls in tortillas.

Uhhhh, the massive influx of hits apparently smacked the server so hard that we got kindasorta fucked over, and the server had to be upgraded to a larger subscription, which we don't actually pay for.

And finally, here's the new strip. I'm particularly proud of the craftsmanship of this piece, especially that last panel. So much so we've got a wallpaper of it in the downloads section now (at the bottom).

I hear some of you are coming from Digg, which is awesome. If there really is a Digg thing on us, make sure you Digg it. We'd really like to get the strips out there to the people, so they can laugh a lot.

And finally, Soto will be down at Otakumex in Albuquerque New Mexico this weekend with a super limited edition awesomesauce t-shirt. You should totally go get one. And shake his hand. Not his right one though, he does disgusting things with that one.

I'm posting this a few hours early because class starts tomorrow, I get up at 6:30AM, and come home about 9:30PM, and I don't know if there's any time in between to update.

If this schedule remains this silly, we might shove the update day to a different day.

Guest script comes from a strange dialogue with my roommate Glenn Fraser, who is incorrectly listed on his very incomplete IMDB page as a voice "actress", when he is in fact, a dude. Does make me giggle, though.

And back to our previously scheduled content. A new strip is up, this one I did myself. Soto's only got one week left of vacation, so I'm gonna let him enjoy the rest of it. I'm moving to Houston this weekend, so no promises of a full-fledged comic on Friday, but we'll absolutely have something new for you on Monday.

San Japan was pretty rockin', and I hope we get to go again next year. We ended up getting a table, and we made a good sum of money, met a lot of great fans, and hopefully made a bunch of new ones. We sat next to a totally rockin' dude, Michael from Screaming Samurai Studio, who gave us a copy of the first bit of Ground Zero, which has me intrigued. Soto also got him to do a couple of really amazing commissions, both of which we hope to scan and post later this week. Also saw the everly lovely madame Amelie, who was admittedly quite busy illustrating the entire convention. I truly, truly feel for her wrists. Also saw my future roomies Josh and Lane, and was called "embraceable" by Chris, which is a pleasant, accurate description. WLP was there too, but I'm pretty sure I shouldn't link them. Might break our TOS considering their content. Dear Sweet Jesus they had a brilliant shirt I'll be buying someday.

Yep, it was good stuff. Future cons I really hope to hit: Ikkicon, Oni-Con, and Animefest. I really can't afford a table, a badge, transportation, and a room, but if we could get a badge and table, I can almost guarantee our presence. That's all we ever really need anywho. Just throwing that out there to anyone who might be reading, y'know, looking for some panelists or artists or anything. Just saying. Hm. (Tell your friends.)

New comic's almost done, but probably won't go up until night-ish, on Monday. I'm still incredibly exhausted from the convention. I promise it'll get done, though.
